Invitation to the Founding Ceremony of the Transcultural Network

Greetings,

You are cordially invited to join us as we announce the founding of the Transcultural Network. The spread of digitalisation and AI technology, together with the growing everyday reality of global mobility, has made exchange, cooperation, and cultural creation across national, ethnic, linguistic, and cultural boundaries an urgent task of our time. As boundaries between cultures disappear or become more fluid, transculturalism points beyond cultural coexistence toward the creation of a new third culture.

Cross-border exchange and global digital platforms can no longer be adequately explained through the culture of any single nation, and scholarship is shifting from nation- and discourse-centred approaches toward network-centred ones. We invite you to encourage the first step of the Transcultural Network as it explores the dynamic processes through which cultures transform one another through contact and exchange, generate new cultures, and contribute to scholarly dialogue and policy development among experts.
